Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet, one of the strongest and most sought-after watch brands in the world, was born in Vallée de Joux, the famous Swiss valley of watchmakers, out of a fruitful alliance between the 23-year-old Jules-Louis Audemars and the 21-year-old Edward-Auguste Piguet. Since then, the brand has been overseen by the Audemars and the Piguet families, whose descendants own it to this day.

IWC

IWC Schaffhausen was founded by the Boston watchmaker Ariosto Jones in 1868 in the old Swiss town of Schaffhausen. Jones believed that combining the most advanced American industrial production methods with the Swiss workforce, traditionally hard-working, skilled and well-versed in watchmaking, was bound to be a success. The state-of-the-art facility he created is still a leader of the watchmaking industry.

Piaget

The history of Piaget can be traced back to the tiny village of La Côte-aux-Fées in the Swiss Jura. It was there that, in 1874, Georges Édouard Piaget made the first high-precision movements – a business that would later be taken up by all of his 14 children. His grandson invented the ultra-thin caliber – now one of the main hallmarks of the manufacture.

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Jaeger-LeCoultre is a legend in the history of the watchmaking industry. Apart from making its own timepieces, the manufacture supplies movements to many other brands. Founded by Antoine Le Coultre in Le Sentier in 1833, the factory had become a respected producer of such complicated calibers as repeaters, chronographs, and perpetual calendars by 1860. Later, in 1931, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Reverso, a watch with a unique reversible case, which has since gained a cult following.

Richard Mille

Richard Mille is known as one of the greatest visionaries of the watchmaking industry. His brand shot into existence at the turn of the 21st century and immediately revolutionized our concept of a luxury watch. All the timepieces in the Richard Mille collection are designed by Mille himself, yet he has no manufacture of his own, as he prefers to craft each part with the help of the leading laboratories and companies in each respective field.

Roger Dubuis

Roger Dubuis, one of the most celebrated modern watchmakers, founded his own brand, together with the designer Carlos Dias, in 1995. Dubuis has developed a number of remarkable movements complying with the strictest requirements of the Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Geneve), so each timepiece in the Roger Dubuis collection bears this prestigious hallmark established in Geneva in 1886, more than 125 years ago.

Maitres du Temps

When the successful American watch distributor Steven Holtzman decided to set up his own brand, he relied on the watchmaking know-how, craftsmanship and aesthetic vision of prominent watchmakers who would collaborate on each Maîtres du Temps project. These timepieces are like chapters in an eventful biography, so they are named accordingly: Chapter One, Chapter Two, Chapter Three…
