A House for the lovers of high watchmaking, jewelry and gastronomy.
Raff House, a private club bringing together those who can appreciate high watchmaking, jewelry and gastronomy, has opened its doors on one of old Moscow’s most beautiful streets, Malaya Nikitskaya, in October. It’s a house collections of timepieces and jewelry items as well as a haute cuisine restaurant.
The mastermind of the project is Rafael Papyan - an avid collector, who, over the years, has introduced many of his clients to the values of haute horlogerie. It was only logical for him to come up with the idea of a club for aficionados, and he did it at the right time, too.
The original idea of Rafael Papyan was to create a private House for narrow range of clients.
These days, the world is full of mass luxury, as the very concept of luxury has lost its original meaning. What used to be the privilege of only a handful of the wealthiest and most important people has all of a sudden taken on the air of accessibility. The Papyans’ idea was that genuine luxury requires more than just desire – it has to be coveted, waited for, sought after and obtained with effort. A series of limited private cards were issued. There are only 999 people can be owners of these cards and these are people, who share values and vision of the owner. First year of Raff House activity gave amazing results demonstrating new opportunities.
Raff House will be the exclusive Russian representative of six leading high watchmaking brands – Jean Dunand, Christophe Claret, Bernhard Lederer, and Maîtres du Temps. In addition, the house collection will include highly innovative, unique pieces created especially for Raff House by such manufactures as Vacheron Constantin, Richard Mille, Ulysse Nardin, Parmigiani Fleurier, IWC, Roger Dubuis, Piaget, Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The original idea of Rafael Papyan to create the House for connoisseurs of high quality watchmaking, jewelry and high Gastronomy expanded and changed the view on luxury industry generally and the name of Raff House became very significant. The interest for the Raff House concept went far beyond Moscow and our country.
Primarily, the watches and jewelry collection of Raff House is completely unique. Leading watch brands are presented here exclusively with, limited collection and unique pieces. The world premieres of new watches are taking place namely in Raff House before their official release. Watchmaking companies are creating watches specially for Raff House and are inviting their guests. At the end of 2013, Raff House presented to the world public the watches Al – Noor, made by outstanding watchmaker Bernhard Lederer. And, finally, the announced project of Supercar, is in its final stage and soon, the world premiere of it will take place.
During past one year we received a wide feedback on everything that was going on in Raff House and around. A lot of people who are interested in novelties and uniqueness that luxury world can provide approached us. Obviously, the borders of our project are wider than we could assume, because launching the project we had no vision of possible development. Receiving serious support from our partners and clients,and having a huge interest from people not only from Moscow, but also from Europe, USA and Middle East, we decided to change the format of our project.
From February, 7th, 2014, Raff House is opened and all guests are having the opportunity to see and to buy the unique pieces from the collection of Raff House, as well as to book the table in Haute cuisine restaurant Raff House.
