Schreiner Fine Jewellery

What is unique about Mr. Schreiner’s work is that he knows how to find some of the rarest and biggest precious stones. He personally handpicks the most valuable Colombian emeralds or yellow African diamonds to craft astonishing pieces that will remain unique. It is believed that no two Schreiner products are exactly alike.

/ Founded about 20 years ago, Schreiner Fine Jewellery is a relatively young brand, still in its childhood by the yardstick of the fine jewelry industry. /

Mr. Schreiner is very particular about the stones he uses. Obviously, many of these are diamonds, primarily rare fancy diamonds colored pink, yellow, brown, and even green, impressively sized and of the highest quality. Large Burmese rubies, which are so rare that they are often valued above diamonds, feature prominently in Mr. Schreiner’s products. But the stars of the collection are, of course, huge bright emeralds that Gerhard Schreiner is especially attracted to.

In spite of this impressive amount of karats, the jewelry does not look gaudy, as Mr. Schreiner prefers the light classical style, which is the most appropriate and time-tested way of dealing with large stones. He uses the most traditional of the cuts popular today. The brand’s most recent coups include a special diamond cut, patented several years ago, in the shape of the Buddha, who sits in the lotus position. The setting exactly follows the shape of the stone.
